Milk For Sunburn

Milk For SunburnDuring summers, we all know the drill – apply sunscreen lotion before heading out and reapply in every 2 hours. Yet even the most devoted sunscreen wearers can sometimes slip and get burned.

When the harsh UV rays bombard with skin, it damages the DNA cells. The body reacting to this situation increases the melamine production to prevent further damage, repairs slightly damaged cells and kills off severely damaged cells. The redness, pain, and itching are actually caused when the body is trying to heal the situation.

If you are experiencing blistering of the skin, nausea, and fever, consult your doctor for immediate medicinal help. Or if you have just pain and redness, try the natural skin soother – “MILK”
