  3. Mix this fenugreek powder into that warm oil

Method – 5: (Coconut Oil for Overnight)

  1. Take 3 – 5 tablespoons of coconut oil and apply it onto the scalp

  1. Take a small amount of rosemary oil and add few drops of coconut oil into it

  1. Take 12 drops of tea tree oil and add this to 1 oz of grape seed oil

  5. You can also use jojoba oil in the place of grape seed oil.

Tea Tree Oil shampoo for Dandruff:

Olive Oil for Dandruff:

  3. Allow it to sit for about an hour and then shampoo your hair

  1. Take 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, 2 tablespoons of distilled water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  2. Add all these ingredients in a small bowl and stir it well
  3. Wet your hair until it’s just damp and pour the rinse over your head.
  4. Then massage it into your scalp with your fingers
  5. Leave it on your scalp for about 20 – 25 minutes
  6. Shampoo your hair normally and continue doing it.

Jojoba Oil for Dandruff:

  • Jojoba oil is not an oil but it is a wax ester that makes the closest approximation to human sebum. It balances the natural oils and helps not to clog pores. It moisturizes the dry flakes on your scalp and removes dandruff very effectively.
  • Jojoba oil dissolves the excess sebum (excess oil on your scalp), cleanses your hair and scalp by preventing the dry, dandruff and damaged hair. It balances the proper pH balances for healthy and natural growth of hair and scalp.

Method – 1: (Jojoba Oil with Lavender Oil)

  1. Take 1 oz of jojoba oil and add 16 drops of lavender essential oil (Or tea tree oil)

Method – 2: (Jojoba Oil Conditioner)

  1. Add few drops of Jojoba oil into your regular condition (10 drops of oil for a 3 oz of bottle)
  2. Mix it and shake it well to combine the oil in the conditioner.
  3. After washing your hair with shampoo, then condition your hair with this mixture.
  4. Leave it on for about 3 – 5 minutes and wash it with water

  1. Take neem oil, tea tree oil and basil oil in equal quantities

  • Massage into scalp and leave on overnight.
  • Wash hair with water and mild shampoo.
  • Repeat nightly.

14. Olive Oil with Egg

The sulfur, proteins, and lecithin in eggs moisturize the scalp, strengthen hair, and kill the fungus that causes dandruff.

Process 1:

  • Whisk together 2 eggs and 4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
  • Massage into scalp, rubbing in circular motions for 10 minutes.
  • Wrap hair in towel and leave on 30 – 40 minutes.
  • Rinse with warm water and shampoo as normal.
  • Repeat daily.

Process 2:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon each of vinegar and olive oil and 1 egg.
  • Apply this on the hair roots and strands with brush.
  • Leave for 45 minutes to 2 hours.
  • Rinse with shampoo and water.
  • Repeat twice a week.

Process 3:

  • Mix 1 egg yolk, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of warm olive oil.
  • Massage into scalp.
  • Wash it thoroughly with warm water after 35 minutes.
  • Repeat twice a week.

15. Olive Oil with Moong Dal and Curd

  • Mix 2 tablespoons moong dal powder, 4 tablespoons curd, and 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil.
  • Apply to scalp, massaging in circular motions.
  • Leave on 15 – 20 minutes, rinse with cool water, and towel dry.
  • Repeat regularly. 

16. Olive Oil with Turmeric

Turmeric is antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, and it contains anti-oxidants that strengthen hair.

  • Mix 1 teaspoon turmeric powder with 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil.
  • Apply to scalp, massaging in circular motions.
  • Leave on 30 – 45 minutes, then shampoo as normal.
  • Repeat daily.

17. Olive Oil with Lemon Juice 

  • Mix 1 teaspoon each of fresh lemon or lime juice and olive oil.
  • Apply on the scalp and massage gently for few minutes to spread thoroughly on the scalp.
  • Leave on overnight.
  • Rinse your hair with water followed by shampoo in the next morning.

  1. In Method 5 above (Coconut Oil overnight), I think the details need to be amended to remove “tea tree oil” and replace it with “coconut oil”?

    1. Shampoo your hair after an hour of olive oil application. Use shampoo with less harsh chemicals for effective results.
