Back Acne ScarsBack acne, or bacne, occurs when skin on the back breaks out with blackheads and pimples. Deep and severe breakouts are more likely to lead to stubborn back acne scars. Back skin has a high concentration of sebaceous glands which congest hair follicles with dry skin cells and oils. This leads to the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, lesions, and cysts.

There are two types of bacne scars: Ice-pick scars, caused by loss of tissue, and Keloid scars, caused by an increase in tissue formation. Bacne triggers include increased hormonal activity, genetics, cosmetics, certain medications, bacteria trapped under the skin, various environmental and situational factors, stress, imbalanced diet, lack of sleep, dairy, and oily or spicy food.

You do not need to spend a lot of money on heavy medication that has tons of side-effects. There are some natural and highly effective ingredients in your house that you don’t make use of. Read through for some great remedies for your bacne scars!

    1. Try 3, 4, 6 or 10 methods mentioned above in the article. Apart from that exfoliate regularly and apply sunscreen before going out in the sun.

  1. I tried a lot to remove my back acne…
But its still the same…what should i do to remove it…???

    1. Acne can be caused due to immunity problems as well. Topical application can have a temporary effect but in order to get rid of acne completely, one has to boost their immunity power and balance their hormones. So first eat nutritional food, exercise regularly, avoid junk food and exfoliate regularly.

  2. For step 6, what cream should I use for best results? Thanks for this article, I’ve had bacne problens for a year now, and this helps a lot 🙂

    1. The time duration for achieving the results depends on the skin texture, collagen production and other reasons. So, it is difficult to predict it without knowing them. All the methods mentioned above are effective in healing the acne scars. However if you want effective results then exfoliate and moisturize the affected areas regularly.

    2. Definitely Mix The Methods Together. By doing this I cured my back acne over night. I was leaving on holiday and started stressing about my back.

So I first did lemon and apple cider viger

followed by a cucumber, avo and tomato mask

followed by an oil olvie mosturiser ( which I took off after an hour because my skin gets really oily already)

      and then applied aloe vera!
